2010/06/29 Latest large update at DrupalSites
What was happening during last week with drupalsites.net?
Well, of course you see the biggest change: revamped design! Finally we have large screenshots (many asked for it) and less cluttered layout. Navigation has become easier and more logical as well. For example featured sites list has its own menu link now but not just a button hidden in the middle of the front page.
2010/02/23 Create your perfect website screenshot.
I noticed that quite so many drupalsites.net users would submit not exactly nice screenshots for the sites they want present to the crowd. For majority of visitors screenshot is the major push to click on your site link to check it out. So it's very important to have a nice one. I gathered a few tips for grabbing a perfect website screenshot (and not only for drupalsites.net of course). Here we go:
2010/02/02 Few updates and horror message translation contest
That was a tremendous couple of month for drupalsites.net. We had the biggest surge of nice submission in years (so some were delayed to be promoted). Lately the quality of drupal websites is dramatically better in general. Both visually and on the functionality side. Not so many "blumarine" sites are popping up, nice. Drupal devs - full steam ahead!
Also, I'm very glad that 85% of latest submissions are provided with a great website screenshot. If you sill don't know how to make it just wait a few more days. New blog post on this matter will be published in a few days.
