A photography website in drupal 6 with the images module (and especially image_gallery) to manage the upload and display of photos. Because I wanted a galleries and subgalleries structure, but also wanted to ensure that people could get straight to subgalleries from the main list page, I altered image_gallery so that it would show an image from every subgallery.
The site also uses the excellent mbGallery jQuery plugin (by Matteo Bicocchi) to run slideshows of image groups - a Views view generates the list of images and descriptions/titles using the taxonomy as the url argument, so any taxonomy can have a slideshow.
