REO Industry directory is a leading portal for REO agents. This is where asset managers see REO agents in their area. Asset managers can see the featured and the non-featured agents and can assign BPO tasks or contact them through the website directly.
The directory offers a paid featured membership to REO agents. We integrated the recurring membership through customizing Ubercart 2 and used the UC_recurring module. The REO agents who are featured or have Featured membership in their shopping cart can avail a discount on the Bank List and the Certification program which is sold through this website. This complex algorithm logic was developed by Ocular Concepts and payment integration was done using PayPal Website Payments Pro.
We not only developed the complex shopping cart process but also integrated the Geolocator API of Google Maps to dynamically show REO agents on the Google Map. The website visitor is requested to share their location and then the application displays the Featured REO agents on the home page Google Map. If the user declines to show the location or takes no action, a default map of REO agents in Los Angeles appears.
We also developed a search engine friendly architecture for the agents profile pages and the city pages for all cities in the US. This resulted into profile pages showing at the top of Google when someone searches for REO agents by their name. We also wrote a custom script to generate the XML sitemap file and automatically submit it periodically to populate the search engine databases with the newly created profiles during a week.
