Founded in 1826, the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international scientific, conservation and educational charity whose mission is to promote and achieve the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.
The project was centred around a platform migration to Drupal 7 and included UX design, a fully responsive front-end and bulk content migration effort.
Panels are used to provide a high level of CMS user control, allowing content editors to layout pages. The site is divided into 5 key sections; ZSL, ZSL London Zoo, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, Science & Conservation - each with it's own variation of the main site theme, giving the user a strong visual signpost as to their location within this vast site.
