I built this site about a year ago with Drupal 5. It features a community section for staff and volunteers and other users, a home page displayed using views and panels. It was built to have robust user profiles, the ability for certain users to blog and be featured on the home page, communities to be built, and the staff to be able update the hundreds of pages of content easily.
Pace e Bene's mission is to foster a just and peaceful world through nonviolent education, community-building, and action.
The site uses a lot of modules, but some key ones are:
- CCK
- Various CCK related modules
- Views
- Panels
- Blog
- Pathauto
- Event
- Calendar
- Imagecache
- Marksmarty
- FCKeditor
- Location
- Organic groups
- Automatic Nodetitles
- Google Analytics
- Node Profile
- Pageroute
Here is an example profile using an early version of what is now Michelle's "advanced_profile" module (which is more of a glue for multiple modules)
