Showcase → MyTunstall - Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent Community Website

After upgrading the www.bankeyfields.co.uk website from drupal 5 to drupal 6 recently, I also thought it was time for a name change.

Basically Bankeyfields was an area covering some 350 houses, where as Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, is a lot bigger.

Users of the site, once registered and vetted (to avoid spammers), can then go on to post their own forum threads about the are, write their own blogs, post classified ads, if they run a local business or service - they can create a business profile that makes use of views2 - gmap and the location modules to present the listings in a list and map view.

Users can communicate privately via private message, bookmark posts using the flag module.

I've also made sure the site publishes it's content to rss feeds enhanced by feedburner, and also post to twitter to reach a wider audience in real time.
