A community site with newspaper elements. The site is targeting a local region in the south of Munich/Germany. The "Isartal" is a river valley starting in Munich, leading about 30 Miles far to the south. This site is for the people living there.
Pretty much of the business is done in a self-developed module (the theme is completely build from scratch) but we also use lot’s of contributed modules from Drupal.org:
