Showcase → Filtermusic

FilterMusic.net is a directory of online radio stations streaming in high quality without

commercials.

After several HTML versions we decided to use Drupal as the main platform for the

Filtermusic.net radio directory. Among others the site features ajax calls and heavy Jquery

implementation; we wanted to make the website as fast as possible.

-As far as performance is concerned we used the Boost module
-Almost everything is done with the Views module
-Radio stations can be listened to via the Yahoo Media Player
-Background pictures are resized with the jQuery Backstretch
-Currently the site is viewed by 140,000 unique visitors per month.

Any feedback would be appreciated and I'd like to say a big thank you to all the Drupal

community for the dozens of modules and patches that made Filtermusic.net possible.
