The POPARD website is an educational organization providing training and consulting services to the educational community, parents and caregivers. Education & Behaviour Consultants observe students with autism in their classrooms and recommend educational and behavioural support strategies to assist the student’s school based team. Services are funded by the Ministry of Education in British Columbia and are available to all B.C. school districts.
The site is designed to help teachers, parents and para-professionals access information about autism spectrum disorders. Registration on this website gives viewers access to eLearning lessons and videos demonstrating best practices for students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
