Komotini Paper Mill Elina was founded in 1979 and is the holder of the trade name Elina. It is a productive and exporting enterprise located in Industrial Area of Komotini, in the prefecture of Rodopi Thrace. From this strategic location, it exports from mid 1980 above all from Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania. Since 2007 it has focused on producing tissue type paper in semi-finished industrial rolls supplied to processing crafts and disposal of consumer products. It produces 17,000 tons in two production lines, a 22% increase from 2009.
