The National Bone Health Alliance (NBHA) is a public-private partnership launched in 2010 that brings together the expertise and resources of its member organizations to collectively: promote bone health and prevent disease; improve diagnosis and treatment of bone disease; and enhance bone research, surveillance and evaluation.
The organization functions as a hub to 40+ other member organizations, along with liaisons representing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The alliance of organizations works together on various projects to improve the overall health and quality of life of all Americans by enhancing their bone health.
For the front-end of the web system, NBHA required a site that would articulate their mission, entice potential members to get involved, provide information for potential financial supporters, and spread awareness about their mission.
The back-end of the site functions as a project management tool for the 40+ organizations to securely communicate and maintain ongoing projects. The system allows members to collaborate on documents, store files, share calendars, and exchange documents.
