Alky is born old. He shrieks, he barks, he annoys the nurses. He wants nothing but his favourite pill. He doesn't assimilate milk. Not even powder milk. Not even addled milk. He has bristling hair, swollen eyes. He spits out iridescent colours and pieces of heart. He can't stomach pizza after 10 pm. And pastel colours, brown dinettes and grey exhaust fumes, sounds from the world below.
